Patient Care As technology advances to improve treatment outcomes so does Fusion Veterinary Orthopedics. Dr. David Dycus believes that staying on the cutting edge of technology further aids in fulfilling our mission and vision to patients in Lanham Maryland as well as those patients in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland area. State-Of-The-Art
Slide At Fusion Veterinary Orthopedics, we have the only 16 slice mobile CT in the United States. This mobile CT allows for less radiation exposure to our team and our patients as well as for a CT to be completed anywhere in the hospital it may be needed. In addition, we utilize fluoroscopy in surgery to allow real time imaging to ensure precision and accuracy of placement of implants. For various conditions such as angular limb deformities and fracture corrections we may use 3D reconstructions of a patient’s leg as well as use software to virtually plan the surgical procedure and practice the alignment before setting foot into the operating room. In addition to 3D printing the patient's leg we can also print patient specific cutting guides, reduction guides, and/or implants. Tendinopathies
