From Vision To Reality
Dr. Dycus is amazing!! We had been feeding a little feral kitten for several months, and one day she showed up with what appeared to be an injured leg. The vet suspected that she'd been hit by a car, which had broken her pelvis. Our vet was skeptical that it could be fixed and we were worried we might have to euthanize her. Fortunately, our vet contacted Dr. Dycus, who agreed to perform the challenging surgery within the next few days. The surgery was successful and our little kitten is recovering nicely. She can even walk without too much trouble now! Without Dr. Dycus, we would've lost this precious kitten. I would highly recommend Dr. Dycus to anyone. He is professional, compassionate and generous. Thank you so much, Dr. Dycus!!!
- Erin P.Went in to see Dr. Dycus today with my service dog, Lucy. Lucy broke one of her toes recently and I’ve been so worried about her. Dr. Dycus and his team did x rays and removed her splint, and were able to tell me she should heal just fine! This made me feel so much better. Dr. Dycus is an excellent listener and answered all of the questions I had, he didn’t make me feel rushed at all and covered everything very thoroughly. His technicians were very kind and you can tell that the whole team is very passionate about what they do and that they will do everything they can to help your babies. I was especially impressed by Dr. Dycus’s knowledge on service dogs and his ability to apply it to our scenario to help us plan out how we will start getting Lucy back to work again. I am so grateful for him and his lovely team!!
- Lucy the Service SibeOn August 24 Teddy was chasing the cat and dislocated his left hip. Once we had an accurate diagnosis we contacted Dr. David Dycus as he had operated on Teddy in 2017 and had an amazing outcome and experience. Even though the diagnosis came over a holiday weekend, Dr. Dycus and his team called, texted and chatted to answer all my questions and arrange surgery as quickly as possible. We traveled to Maryland and on September 10 Teddy had a Left hip toggle procedure with a Mini ThightRope system. The entire process was flawless. We were updated preoperatively and postoperative and received some amazing photos. Pain management and follow up after discharge was also great! Today marks one month and you can not tell that Ted had surgery if he was not shaved down. Thank you Dr Dycus and team for taking such great care of Teddy.
- Debbie S.Awesome orthopedic surgeon for my pup! Dr. Dycus and his assistant were awesome to work with. They made me comfortable with deciding to get my senior dog TPLO surgery. Dr. Dycus was very through with walking me through options, listened to my concerns, and their pricing was very reasonable.
